His rise in popularity deriving from his powerful solo acoustic performances pack venues regularly throughout Orange County and LA. Jonathan has opened for John Legend, Smash Mouth, Third Eye Blind, Cheap Trick, Matt Costa, Fitz and The Tantrums, Jimmie Vaughan, Bo Bice, performed at The Coastal Country Jam with Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, Chase Rice and Dylan Scott, performed at the South By South West Music Festivetival in Austin Texas, toured opening for Rock and Roll Hall of Famed Dave Mason, the band Pepper, and Tesla.
